Softfootball understands that Fofana has already agreed personal terms with AS Roma, leaving the final decision in the hands of the Italian club. Lyon are now waiting to discover whether Roma will proceed with the move after securing Mora.
Roma had reportedly submitted a €25 million bid for Porto star Rodrigo Mora, with the deal now completed as the club continue strengthening their attacking options.
Fofana remains an option for Roma, but the club are also considering Luis Henrique of Inter as another possibility on their shortlist. The next step will depend on Roma’s decision regarding the Belgian winger and whether they want to commit to another major attacking addition.
