Super Falcons defender Shukurat Oladipo has on Monday, 7 September 2026 returned to her club side AS Roma after enjoying a two‑week vacation following the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
In a video trending online, shared by Julie Sports, the Nigerian defender received a warm welcome from her teammates upon her return, while fans could be heard chanting her name in the background as she rejoined the squad.

Her return comes after the conclusion of the 2026 WAFCON, where Nigeria were knocked out in the quarter‑finals, losing 1–0 to Cameroon, who later went on to win the title.
In their attempt to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Super Falcons also suffered a 2–1 defeat to South Africa, ending their qualification hopes.
