Today sunday 2nd August 2926, The Nigerian Super Falcons have now hit the gym after their hard‑fought 1–0 win over Zambia, as they continued their recovery session following the match.

Here are some photos shared by the Nigerian women’s official team on social media.

Softfootball understands Nigeria secured the win despite playing with 10 players after defender Oluwatosin Demehin was shown a straight red card for bringing down Zambia captain Barbra Banda, who would have been through on goal.

The players worked in the gym as part of their recovery programme and will resume full preparations on Monday ahead of their final Group C clash against Egypt on Wednesday.

The Super Falcons will be aiming to finish the group strongly and score more goals, as goal difference could prove important depending on results elsewhere in the group.

After showing great character and resilience against Zambia, the team will now turn its full attention to securing another positive result against Egypt.
