Vozinha is set to begin a new chapter in Chile after reaching a verbal agreement to join Colo Colo.
The Cape Verde international has agreed terms with the Chilean giants, with the transfer now awaiting the signing of final documents. The paperwork is expected to be completed over the weekend before the 40-year-old travels to Chile to undergo his medical tests.
The breakthrough comes after Softfootball previously reported that the move was on the verge of collapsing following a breakdown in negotiations.
The veteran goalkeeper enhanced his reputation with a series of outstanding performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, attracting interest from clubs across multiple continents despite entering the market as a free agent.
At the time, advanced talks had stalled after Colo Colo’s official offer and Vozinha’s counter-proposal failed to produce an agreement, casting serious doubt over the transfer.
