Fenerbahçe president Hakan Safi has confirmed that Fenerbahçe have reached an agreement with Mason Greenwood. External reports reaching Softfootball also confirm that the deal is ready until 2030, with Safi believing the transfer will be completed if he wins the election, especially after Greenwood liked and followed Safi on social media.

We have reached an agreement with Mason Greenwood.
The deal is ready until June 2030 if I win the elections.
The ongoing Fenerbahçe S.K. extraordinary presidential election is taking place over 6–7 June 2026. This extraordinary election was triggered by previous leadership changes, meaning the winner will only serve a shortened term. The club’s next regularly scheduled, full‑term presidential election will be held in May or June 2027.
