FIFA has officially confirmed that the final ticket sales phase for the FIFA World Cup 2026 will begin on April 22, with tickets for all 104 matches set to be released to the public.

This announcement comes amid growing concerns over soaring resale prices, with Softfootball’s earlier reports suggesting tickets originally valued at around $10,990 have been listed for as high as $36,000 on secondary markets.

While these figures remain unconfirmed, they have sparked debate about accessibility and the potential impact on stadium attendance.

According to a post on FIFA Official X handle, Fans will be able to purchase tickets on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 11:00 ET (17:00 CET), marking one of the last opportunities to secure seats for the tournament, which will be hosted across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
