AS Roma face a crucial Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend as they welcome Pisa, with the Giallorossi desperate to stop their recent slump and keep top-four hopes alive.

Since the start of March, Softfootball has reported Roma have collected just four points from five league games, conceding 12 goals over that period, the same number they shipped between November and February.

A 5-0 defeat to Inter Milan last time out highlighted their fragility as reported by serie A via their YouTube channel, and Roma cannot afford further slip-ups as Como and Juventus pull away in the race for European qualification.

Amid this, Roma are reportedly set to make Donyell Malen’s move permanent in a €25m deal, while attempts to sign Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee have been blocked, reflecting the club’s cautious approach in the transfer market.

Roma will be without defender Gianluca Mancini due to an adductor injury, while Paulo Dybala, Artem Dovbyk, and Evan Ferguson also remain sidelined. Key midfielder Manu Kone and wing-back Wesley are close to returning.

Lorenzo Pellegrini could mark his 300th Serie A appearance and 50th league goal, while Donyell Malen, Serie A’s top scorer for Roma since January, is expected to lead the attack.
