Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood believes the club is capable of securing a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League after extending their impressive run of form, Softfootball reports.
Forest strengthened their push near the top of the Premier League table with a 2-0 victory over Everton, recording a fifth consecutive league win. The result lifted Nuno Espirito Santo’s side to second place, raising expectations among supporters of a potential return to European football.
Despite the growing excitement, Wood has urged his teammates to stay grounded and maintain their focus as the campaign progresses. The New Zealand international acknowledged the significance of Forest’s position but insisted there is still plenty of work to do before any targets can be achieved.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Wood described the prospect of qualifying for Europe as a dream for both the club and its supporters.
