Vini Jr Shines as Brazil Beat Haiti 3–0; Ancelotti Confirms Raphinha Injury Tests Pending

Brazil defeated Haiti 3–0 in their second match of the 2026 World Cup group stage. Matheus Cunha scored twice in the 23rd and 36th minutes, while Vinícius Júnior added the third in 45+3’.

Speaking after the match, Vini Jr explained that his goal came from following Carlo Ancelotti’s tactical instructions. This was his statement:

“Carlo Ancelotti asked me to play deep between the CBs… he was right!”.

“I score goals when I play there. I have to listen to Mister more often”.

After the match, Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that Raphinha will undergo tests in the next 24 hours to assess his injury.
