Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeneß has declared Harry Kane the best transfer the club has ever made, praising the English striker’s impact both on and off the pitch. Speaking to the media, Hoeneß also dismissed Barcelona’s reported interest, stating that the Catalan club “does not have the money” to sign him.

Softfootball gathered, The comments came just hours after Kane delivered another historic performance, scoring a hat‑trick in Bayern’s 3–0 victory over VfB Stuttgart in the 2025/26 DFB‑Pokal final on Saturday, 23 May 2026.
Kane, who has now scored 60 goals this season, described the night as one of the most special moments of his career.
He said:
This was definitely one of the best nights of my career. I was incredibly excited for this final. I’d heard so much about it from many players who had already experienced this final with the club. And then to score a hat-trick in a final – it’s really a very special game and a very special feeling.
Reflecting on his season, he added:
I’m extremely proud of that. I loved this season at Bayern.
With Bayern winning both the 2025/26 Bundesliga and the 2025/26 DFB‑Pokal, Kane has secured his first domestic double with the club, Bayern’s first in six seasons. His arrival has transformed the team’s attacking power, validating Hoeneß’s bold claim about his transfer value.
