Tottenham Hotspur have reached a verbal agreement with Manchester City to sign Savinho, with the Brazilian winger now set to travel for his medical.
Softfootball reported two days ago that Tottenham were intensifying their pursuit of both Savinho and Marmoush as part of a wider recruitment strategy focused on adding two wingers and a central striker before the window closes.
Club-to-club terms were agreed tonight, marking a major step towards completing the transfer. The fee will be in excess of £75 million and is expected to reach more than £80 million including add-ons.
Savinho is now expected to travel to undergo his medical before completing the remaining formalities of the move to Spurs.
Tottenham have been pushing hard to strengthen their attack before the transfer window closes, with the 22-year-old winger identified as a key target for their new-look frontline.
