Spain international Rodrigo Hernández has warned that Turkey will pose a difficult challenge when the two nations meet in Konya on Sunday evening, Softfootball reports.
The midfielder, who featured as a second-half substitute in Spain’s 3-0 victory over Bulgaria in their opening fixture of the World Cup qualifying campaign, posed the threat his side is likely to face against Turkey away from home.

Speaking during the press conference this evening ahead of Sunday’s game, Rodri raised concerns about the team play of the Turks.
As released on the La Roja X handle, Rodri said:
Turkey is not a team defined by big individual stars, but by being a very compact unit.
I see them as a very dangerous opponent at home, and they will force us to show our very best.
Spain arrived in the Central Anatolia region on Friday night, with Luis de la Fuente’s men having to train at the Konya Büyükşehir Belediye Stadium on Saturday evening as preparations for their second World Cup qualifier intensify.
Meanwhile, just as Rodri has called for focus against the Turkish side, Coach Luis de la Fuente has also echoed that this isn’t the time for his boys to be relaxed, as success requires more work.
Turkey, meanwhile, has built a reputation for strong home performances, having recorded back-to-back wins in their last three home games against Hungary, Montenegro, and Iceland at the UEFA Nations League.
The clash on Sunday night offers Spain the chance to seize early control of the qualifying group, having recorded three points in their first game against Bulgaria.
