Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke has expressed his delight after earning a recall to the England squad for the UEFA Nations League fixtures against Greece and Finland.
Softfootball gathered that the 27-year-old described the call-up as a special moment after more than seven years away from the national team.

Solanke admitted he had been working tirelessly for another opportunity and was thrilled to return to St George’s Park, where he reunited with several familiar faces.
The forward also shared the emotional moment he received the call informing him of his selection. After playing against Ferencvaros, Solanke said he eagerly awaited the announcement before being asked to call the England manager, who confirmed his place in the squad.
