Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has revealed that lifting the Premier League trophy is now his top priority, placing domestic success ahead of UEFA Champions League glory.

Softfootball understands Salah is eager to celebrate a league triumph with Liverpool supporters after the club’s 2019/20 title win came during the COVID-19 pandemic, when fans were unable to fully enjoy the historic achievement.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Salah admitted his focus has shifted for the first time in years.

The 32-year-old revealed that he had previously prioritised European success but now sees ending Liverpool’s domestic title wait with the fans present as the ultimate objective.
The biggest motivation is to win the Premier League.

I just want to win the Premier League with the city and with the fans and just to experience that day, going on the parade in the city.
