Mohamed Salah continued his record-breaking Premier League campaign by reaching another impressive milestone during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Everton.
The Egyptian provided the assist for Alexis Mac Allister’s equaliser before scoring Liverpool’s second goal at Goodison Park.
His assist was his ninth away from home in the league this season, while his goal took his away goal contributions to 23, combining 14 goals and nine assists.
That figure moved Salah beyond Andy Cole’s previous record of 21 away goal contributions in a Premier League season.
The Liverpool forward also recorded his 14th assist of the league campaign and became the first player to score and assist in nine separate Premier League matches during a single season.
Salah’s latest achievement underlines his extraordinary consistency for Liverpool as he continues to play a key role in the club’s title challenge.
With 22 league goals already to his name, the Egyptian is also within reach of the Premier League’s single-season assist record, jointly held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne with 20 assists.
