The Nigerian international replaced Hugo Duro in the 59th minute and delivered a solid performance in his third appearance for the club this season. Softfootball reports that he has already picked up one yellow card in the league.
Valencia took the lead in the 30th minute through a brilliant finish by Mosquera, delighting the home crowd at the Mestalla.

Mouctar Diakhaby doubled the advantage just before halftime with a goal in the 41st minute, effectively sealing the three points for the hosts against their relegation rivals.
