He also added that Vinicius Jr has not had enough rest, but playing for Real Madrid comes with high expectations, similar to Brazil, where excellence is always demanded. Abeloa did not blame Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti, whom he called his friend, for not resting Vinicius Jr.

On Jude Bellingham, he mentioned that the midfielder trained and played a part in Real Madrid’s 3–2 win against Atletico Madrid before the international break. England manager Thomas Tuchel did not use him during the international break, and now Bellingham is ready to return and join the team against Mallorca.

On the other hand, Eder Militao is back. When he is fit, Real Madrid’s defense is always stronger. Abeloa is expected to manage him carefully, especially with the upcoming Champions League clash against Bayern Munich. Bayern are also resting Harry Kane this weekend to keep him fresh for that match, so Real Madrid will need to ensure Militao is fully ready.

This match will not be easy, as Mallorca are fighting relegation. They are currently 18th with 28 points, while Real Madrid sit second with 69 points in La Liga. In head-to-head records, Madrid have 8 wins, 1 draw, and Mallorca have 1 win.

The first game after the international break is always tricky, but Real Madrid must win this match to put more pressure on league leaders Barcelona.
