However, Al-Khelaifi has firmly denied any interest in signing Salah, insisting the Ligue 1 giants have never considered making a move for the prolific forward.

“It’s not true,” Al-Khelaifi said.

“He’s a fantastic and amazing player, but we’ve never considered him, to be honest.

“We know every club would love to have him, but this rumour about us is simply not true.”

The PSG president also addressed the possibility of strengthening his squad during the January transfer window, revealing the club remains open to opportunities if the right player becomes available.

“If there’s an opportunity, we will of course explore,” he added.

Despite PSG distancing themselves from the rumours, Salah’s future remains a major talking point.

Reports suggest the transfer speculation may be part of ongoing negotiations involving the Egyptian’s representatives, while Saudi Pro League clubs continue to monitor the situation closely.

Saudi sides have long admired the Liverpool star and are reportedly preparing to revive their interest when the January transfer window opens.

For Liverpool, the priority remains keeping one of their most influential players as they continue their push for major honours this season, with Salah once again playing a pivotal role in the Reds’ impressive campaign.
