Paris Saint-Germain are planning to resume direct talks with Ajax over a potential deal for Mika Godts after the Super Cup, with the French champions expected to return with an improved proposal. Ajax are anticipating a new offer to arrive soon as PSG continue their pursuit of the highly rated winger.
Softfootball reported that Godts has already given his approval to the PSG project, putting the French club in a strong position as negotiations with Ajax prepare to restart. The Belgian youngster is understood to be attracted by the opportunity to continue his development at one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
PSG are now expected to focus on reaching an agreement with Ajax over the transfer fee and structure of the deal. While the initial discussions have not yet produced an agreement, the Parisian club remain determined to push forward once the Super Cup is concluded.
Meanwhile, PSG are also continuing to strengthen their youth setup, having agreed personal terms with France U16 talent Lacine Megnan-Pavé. The move underlines the club’s strategy of combining established stars with some of the most promising young talents in French and European football.
