Lionel Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, has revealed that her family has adapted smoothly to life in Miami since the Argentine superstar joined Inter Miami.
Softfootball understood that Messi’s move to Major League Soccer in the summer of 2023 marked a major change for the family after many years in European football.
Messi left Europe to begin a new chapter in the United States, and his arrival at Inter Miami brought huge attention to both the club and MLS.
Speaking in an interview with Haute Living, Antonela said life in Miami has been enjoyable and comfortable for the family.
She explained that the warm weather, beautiful scenery, and friendly people have made the city feel special.
According to her, Miami gives the feeling of living in a constant summer, which has made the adjustment easier for the family.
Antonela also admitted that the biggest surprise was the warm welcome they received when they arrived. She said they expected it to be special, but the reception was even better than they imagined.
She added that their main concern was whether the children would settle well in their new environment.
However, she said the children adapted from the first day, making the transition much easier for the entire family.
For Antonela, Miami has quickly become a happy home for the Messi family.
