Galatasaray remain determined to complete the permanent signing of Victor Osimhen, according to club deputy chairman İbrahim Hatipoğlu.
Speaking on the transfer situation, and as reported by Softfootball, Hatipoğlu insisted that the Nigerian striker remains the Turkish champions’ number one priority.
Osimhen enjoyed an outstanding spell with Galatasaray after joining the club on loan from Napoli. His goals and performances helped the team achieve domestic success and made him a huge favourite among supporters.
Galatasaray are now hoping to turn the temporary arrangement into a permanent transfer, although negotiations are expected to be complicated by interest from other clubs.

Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal have reportedly made an enormous financial proposal for the striker, while several European clubs have also been monitoring his situation.
Osimhen is yet to make a final decision regarding his future, but Galatasaray continue to push for an agreement.
The Turkish club’s strong relationship with the player and his impressive experience in Istanbul could work in their favour.
However, Napoli’s asking price and the competing offers could determine whether Galatasaray are able to complete the deal.
The striker is expected to decide his next destination soon, bringing an end to months of speculation.
For Galatasaray, keeping Osimhen would represent a major statement of ambition as they prepare for another challenging season.
