Napoli forward Noah Okafor has assured supporters that he will soon return to his best level after joining the Serie A club during the January transfer window.
The Switzerland international is working hard in training as he looks to adapt to his new surroundings and regain his top form.
Okafor believes his versatility can make him a valuable option for Napoli, explaining that he is capable of playing on either wing or through the middle. Okafor said:
I’m in a great club. I’m working hard to get back to my best form. Soon I’ll be able to express myself at my best again and therefore make a difference and help the team.
The forward admitted that adapting to a new club is challenging but remains convinced that hard work will help him reach his best level. He said:
For me it’s something new at the moment, so it’s difficult, but I’m convinced that it’s what I need: to train hard every day and overcome my limits.
Okafor also revealed that his preferred position is on the left wing, where he believes he can make the most of his pace, dribbling ability and movement.
