Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo is confident that Ola Aina will sign a new contract with the Premier League club.
The Nigeria international’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, making his future an important issue for Forest as they look to retain key members of their squad.
Aina has established himself as an important player under Santo and has attracted interest from clubs following his consistent performances.
Forest previously activated an option to extend his original contract, but the club now wants to secure his long-term future.

Santo revealed that discussions with the 28-year-old are progressing positively and expressed optimism that an agreement will be reached. Nuno Santo said:
I think there will be good news. Things are going well.
Aina joined Forest in 2023 and has since become a dependable option in the team’s defensive setup. His versatility and experience have made him a valuable member of the squad.
