Softfootball has gathered that twenty year old Mika Godts is expected to leave AFC Ajax this summer, with initial approaches already made by several major European clubs. The update was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano through his official X account.
The development follows Ajax’s managerial change in March, when Oscar García was appointed first-team coach to replace Fred Grim after a difficult run of results.
Romano shared:
Mika Godts, expected to make his move in the summer with European top clubs on alert for Ajax gem. Initial approaches already took place.

Godts has enjoyed a breakout campaign in the Eredivisie, recording 15 goals and 10 assists in 28 matches. His direct running, creativity, and finishing have made him one of the league’s most productive young attackers.
Capable of playing across the front line as a winger or inside forward, the Belgian talent has attracted attention from Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and FC Barcelona.

Ajax’s long tradition of developing elite young players before selling them for major fees means another high-profile transfer now looks increasingly possible. With Godts under contract until 2029, the Dutch giants remain in a strong negotiating position.
Any club pursuing him would be investing in one of Europe’s rising wide attackers, with both immediate impact and long-term upside.
He discussed injuries, squad mentality, and performance consistency, while calmly insisting his full focus remains on the present rather than long-term questions about his future.
