Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has urged his players to be fully prepared for a tough test against Brentford, praising Thomas Frank’s tactical flexibility ahead of the Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea currently sit second in the table on 31 points, and will be hoping for a positive result to keep the pressure on league leaders Liverpool.

Softfootball reports that Maresca spoke highly of his opposite number while previewing the fixture. He stated:
I don’t know Thomas Frank personally but I’ve known about him and his team for many years.
He is doing a fantastic job, the way they achieve points, the way they play, the style they have, it is top, fantastic.
Maresca also highlighted the unpredictability of Brentford’s tactical setup as a key challenge his side will need to navigate. Speaking during the press conference, he explained:
The good thing about Brentford is they can play in many different styles, they don’t have one way to play.
So it’s quite complicated and we will have to try to do our best.
