The Spanish tactician guided PSG to UEFA Champions League success, delivering a historic and commanding 5–0 victory over Inter Milan in the final. The triumph marked one of the most dominant Champions League final performances in recent history and solidified Enrique’s tactical brilliance on the biggest stage.
Despite their European success, PSG experienced mixed fortunes elsewhere. Softfootball gathered that the French champions lost to Chelsea in the FIFA Club World Cup, which was hosted in the United States of America. However, Enrique’s side bounced back by winning the UEFA Super Cup, edging Tottenham Hotspur 4–3 on penalties.
The 2025 Globe Soccer Awards ceremony in Dubai celebrated excellence across global football. Other notable winners included Portugal, named Best National Team of the Year, Jorge Mendes, who won Best Football Agent, and Los Angeles FC, recipients of the Best Club Branding award.
