Flamingos Coach, Akeem Busari Takes On Remo Stars Ladies Manager Role After WAFU-B U17 Triumph

Flamingos head coach Akeem Busari is set to take on a new role as manager of Remo Stars Ladies while continuing in his position with Nigeria’s U17 women’s national team.

Softfootball understands that Busari previously worked with Pacesetters and was also part of the technical crew at Bayelsa Queens during their successful 2025 NWFL Premiership Super Six title-winning campaign.

His appointment at Remo Stars Ladies comes on the back of a highly successful spell with the Flamingos.

Nigeria’s Flamingos were recently crowned champions of the 2026 WAFU-B U17 Girls Cup after a commanding 4-0 victory over Togo in the final.
