The triumph at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena delivered Rangers’ ninth league crown, drawing them level with Enyimba as the most decorated sides in NPFL history.

Both teams entered the contest with everything on the line: Rangers needed a win to guarantee the title, while Ikorodu City were fighting to keep their continental hopes alive.
