Endrick has expressed his belief that Carlo Ancelotti will not make decisions based on individuals or fan expectations, but strictly on what benefits the Brazil national team during the 2026 World Cup.

Speaking to the media, the young forward made his stance clear:

Ancelotti won’t do what’s best for Endrick, he won’t do what’s best for the fans… …he’ll do what’s best for the team.

Softfootball understands Endrick made his first appearance of the tournament in Brazil’s 3–0 win over Haiti, coming off the bench in the 63rd minute.

While addressing the media, Endrick who as of 21 June 2026 plays for Ligue 1 side Lyon on loan from Real Madrid, also expressed deep appreciation for Ancelotti.

He shared his gratitude to God for having Ancelotti as Brazil’s manager, acknowledging the Italian’s experience, leadership, and trust in young players.
