Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers has revealed that he would consider ending his playing career in Nigeria, Japan or the United States.

The Rangers forward discussed the possibility of exploring football outside Europe later in his career.

Dessers, who has represented Nigeria internationally, has spent much of his professional career playing in Europe. However, he admitted that he remains open to experiencing football in different parts of the world.

Nigeria would naturally represent a particularly interesting option because of his connection with the country through the Super Eagles. Playing in Nigeria towards the end of his career could allow Dessers to experience the domestic game and connect more closely with Nigerian football supporters.

Japan and the United States are also increasingly attractive destinations for experienced players looking for a different football and lifestyle experience. The striker, however, remains focused on his current career and continuing to perform at the highest level possible.

Dessers has developed into an important attacking player for Rangers and has continued to contribute goals and performances for the Scottish club. His comments about his future do not necessarily mean an immediate departure from European football.

Instead, they highlight the striker’s willingness to consider different possibilities when the time eventually comes to move on. For Nigerian supporters, the prospect of Dessers finishing his career in the country could be an exciting one.
