Napoli manager Antonio Conte is reportedly targeting Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho as a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who has requested to leave the Serie A club.

The Georgian international is expected to depart this month, forcing Napoli to identify suitable options as they prepare for life without one of their most influential players.

Napoli have already been linked with several attacking players, including Federico Chiesa and Edon Zhegrova, as they assess possible replacements.

Softfootball understands Conte views Garnacho as his preferred choice, while discussions continue over Kvaratskhelia’s proposed move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Reports in Italy suggest Napoli could pay around €50 million for the Argentina international if Manchester United are willing to negotiate.

Garnacho remains an important member of Ruben Amorim’s squad, although recent reports claim neither he nor Kobbie Mainoo is considered untouchable because of the club’s financial situation.

Napoli are expected to step up their search for reinforcements if Kvaratskhelia’s departure is completed. Any move for Garnacho will depend on negotiations between both clubs and the player’s willingness to make the switch to Italy.
