Como have completed the signing of Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea in a deal worth €30 million in guaranteed fees plus a further €6 million in add-ons.

The agreement also includes a sell-on clause, giving Chelsea the opportunity to benefit financially from any future transfer involving the 27-year-old English defender.

The completion of the move comes just days after Softfootball first reported that Como had reached a verbal agreement with Chelsea over the transfer. Negotiations progressed quickly after the clubs settled on the guaranteed fee and additional bonuses.

Chalobah now begins a new chapter in Serie A with Como, who are continuing to build an ambitious squad under manager Cesc Fàbregas following their return to Italy’s top flight.

The transfer represents a significant investment from Como as Fàbregas continues shaping a competitive team capable of challenging established Serie A sides.

For Chelsea, the deal provides a substantial guaranteed return while the sell-on clause preserves the possibility of additional revenue in the future.

With the agreement now completed, Chalobah is set to begin preparations with his new teammates as Como continue strengthening their squad ahead of the upcoming Serie A campaign.
