Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench to provide an assist as AC Milan secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Belgian side Club Brugge in their UEFA Champions League clash at the San Siro on Tuesday night.
Softfootball gathered that the Super Eagles winger made an instant impact after his introduction, helping the Rossoneri secure their first Champions League win of the campaign with a composed display.

Despite starring in AC Milan’s Serie A victory over Udinese last weekend, Chukwueze was named among the substitutes by manager Paulo Fonseca for the European encounter.
The Nigerian was introduced on the hour mark, replacing Portugal international Rafael Leao, and quickly influenced proceedings with his pace and creativity.
Chukwueze set up Tijjani Reijnders for AC Milan’s third goal in the 71st minute, capping an impressive cameo that helped seal all three points for the Italian giants.
Club Brugge also featured Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika, whose night ended in disappointment after he was shown a straight red card five minutes before halftime.
Elsewhere, Peter Olayinka played the full 90 minutes for Red Star Belgrade but could not prevent his side from suffering a heavy 5-1 defeat away to Monaco at the Stade Louis-II.
