Chelsea will continue preparations for the 2026/27 campaign when they face Serie A giants AC Milan in a pre-season friendly at the Gelora Bung Karno Madya Stadium on Saturday.
The Blues head into the fixture looking to bounce back from a second consecutive defeat after Juventus secured a 1-0 victory in their previous outing. Milan, meanwhile, played out a 1-1 draw with city rivals Inter in their latest pre-season fixture.
Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea opened their tour with an entertaining 6-4 victory over Western Sydney Wanderers, although defensive concerns were evident. Those weaknesses were exposed again in a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
AC Milan are also entering a new era, with Ruben Amorim now in charge after Massimiliano Allegri’s second spell at the club ended following a disappointing fifth-place finish and a final-day defeat to Cagliari.
Both sides will therefore view Saturday’s encounter as an opportunity to build momentum, improve fitness and fine-tune their squads before the competitive season begins.
