Chidinma Okeke Completes Transfer to Napoli Women, Set for Serie A Debut

On Friday, 18 September 2026, Super Falcons defender Chidinma Okeke completed her move to Napoli Women, becoming the latest Nigerian international to take her career to Serie A Femminile.

The 26‑year‑old left‑back joins Napoli as a free agent following the expiration of her contract with Club América Femenil.

Okeke previously transferred to Club América from Mynavi Sendai in Japan, with her signing officially announced on 21 August 2024. She made her Liga MX Femenil debut on 9 September 2024, and her spell in Mexico concluded in September 2026 as she sealed her switch to Italy.

During her time in Mexico, Okeke played a key role in helping Club América win the 2025/26 CONCACAF Women’s Champions Cup, further enhancing her profile before securing her move to Europe.

She has now signed a two‑year contract with Napoli Women, marking a new chapter in her career as she prepares to compete in Italian women’s football.

Reacting to the transfer in a video posted on the Napoli Women official Instagram handle, Okeke expressed her excitement, saying she was happy to be in the team and looking forward to meeting everyone at the stadium.
