Speculation linking Chelsea with a potential January move for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has been making the rounds, but reports now suggest there’s no truth to those claims. The Brazilian has been loosely associated with several Premier League clubs in recent months , but nothing concrete has materialized.
Rodrygo’s situation at Real Madrid has drawn attention lately due to his limited playing time under new coach Xabi Alonso. Since Alonso’s arrival earlier this summer, the 24-year-old has struggled for minutes, most recently coming on as a 79th-minute substitute for Eduardo Camavinga in Madrid’s draw against Rayo Vallecano.

According to Fabrizio Romano via official X handle, the journalist provided the lastest on the transfer speculation of the brazilian. Romano posted;

Softfootball earlier reported that Rodrygo himself confirmed during the summer that he had offers on the table but decided to remain at Real Madrid, reaffirming his commitment to the club and his desire to succeed in Spain.
Despite the recent rumours, sources close to both clubs insist that the winger’s focus remains on regaining his starting spot at Madrid rather than seeking a move abroad. Chelsea, meanwhile, are reportedly prioritizing other positions as they look to strengthen ahead of the second half of the season.
