Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho as they look to strengthen their attacking options during the January transfer window. The Blues are assessing potential additions amid uncertainty over Christopher Nkunku’s future at Stamford Bridge.
According to L’Equipe, Chelsea are interested in Garnacho, while Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi is also being considered as an alternative.
Softfootball reports that Nkunku has attracted interest from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, prompting Chelsea to explore possible attacking reinforcements.
Napoli are also reportedly interested in Garnacho as they prepare for the departure of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain. The Italian club have already made a €40 million bid for Adeyemi, who remains under contract with Dortmund until 2027.
Garnacho, meanwhile, is tied to Manchester United until 2028 and remains a target for Antonio Conte’s Napoli.
The expected €70 million sale of Kvaratskhelia to PSG could have a major impact on the winger market, with clubs such as Manchester United and Dortmund potentially looking to reinvest in new wide players.
