New Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle is expected to bring three trusted assistants to Nigeria as he begins his tenure with the national team.

Softfootball understands the Malian tactician will arrive in Abuja to complete the final details of his contract following his appointment by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

In addition to his personal coaching staff, the former Mali boss is also expected to collaborate with local assistants selected by the NFF as preparations begin for upcoming competitions.

His first major assignment will be leading Nigeria at the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
