Victor Boniface was reportedly absent from Bayer Leverkusen training amid ongoing negotiations over a potential move to Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr.
The Super Eagles striker has emerged as a transfer target for the Saudi giants, who are keen to strengthen their attacking options.
According to Softfootball, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that an Al Nassr delegation is currently in Germany to discuss the proposed deal with both Boniface and Bayer Leverkusen.

The journalist added that talks are underway, although several details still need to be resolved before the transfer can be completed.
Boniface has been an important player for Leverkusen since joining the Bundesliga club and his potential departure would represent a major move in his career.
Should the deal be finalised, the Nigeria international would join a star-studded Al Nassr squad featuring Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and fellow African forward Sadio Mane.
The transfer could see Boniface begin a new chapter in Saudi Arabia after establishing himself as one of the leading Nigerian forwards in European football.
