Softfootball understands that Bouaddi agreed personal terms with City back in July and has now received the green light to join Enzo Maresca’s project.

The 18-year-old is scheduled to fly to Manchester today to complete the next stages of the transfer.

Bouaddi’s family had already visited Manchester City several weeks ago as discussions progressed, with the midfielder now set to sign a five-year contract with an option for an additional year.

Lille have given their final approval for the sale, bringing Bouaddi closer to becoming the latest major young talent to join Manchester City’s long-term project.

The agreement also represents a major financial deal for Lille, with the French club set to receive up to €100 million for the teenage midfielder.
