Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has urged young forward Endrick to remain patient as he continues adapting to life at the Spanish giants.
According to information available to Softfootball, the Brazilian teenager had made limited appearances for Madrid, accumulating 496 minutes across all competitions while scoring six goals before the Copa del Rey meeting with Real Sociedad.
Despite his impressive goalscoring return, Endrick has had to compete with several established forwards for regular playing time. Ancelotti believes that competition is simply part of playing for a club of Real Madrid’s stature.
The Italian manager insisted the teenager should continue working hard and take advantage of every opportunity that comes his way.
I’m delighted with him. I’ve given him minutes whenever I can, and he’s always taken advantage of them.
Ancelotti also pointed to the experiences of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga, who had to spend time on the bench before becoming regular starters.
The Real Madrid boss believes Endrick’s patience will eventually be rewarded as he continues his development at the Santiago Bernabeu.
