Former Royal Antwerp defender Toby Alderweireld has praised Tolu Arokodare, describing the Nigerian forward as one of the best strikers currently playing in Belgium.
According to information available to Softfootball, Alderweireld has been impressed by the impact Arokodare has made since establishing himself as an important attacking player for Genk.
The Super Eagles striker has developed a reputation for his physical strength, movement and ability to finish chances.
Arokodare’s performances have also attracted interest from clubs outside Belgium, with his growing profile expected to generate further transfer speculation during the summer.
Alderweireld believes the forward deserves recognition for the progress he has made and the consistency he has shown in front of goal.

The striker’s development has been particularly notable given the level of competition in the Belgian top flight.
