Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr have reportedly opened negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen over a potential move for Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface.
The Saudi giants are searching for a new forward following the departure of Brazilian attacker Talisca, who recently joined Turkish side Fenerbahce.
According to Softfootball, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Al Nassr have identified Boniface as one of their preferred options to strengthen their attack.
Romano wrote on X, adding that discussions with Bayer Leverkusen are ongoing. He posted:
Understand Al Nassr have started official talks for Victor Boniface as new striker,”
Boniface is not the only player being considered by the Saudi club, with Aston Villa forward Jhon Durán also reportedly on their shortlist.
The Nigerian striker recently extended his contract with Bayer Leverkusen, keeping him at the Bundesliga champions until 2029. The new deal also reportedly places him among the club’s highest earners.
However, Leverkusen are said to be demanding at least €50 million before considering a sale, meaning Al Nassr may have to make a significant financial commitment to complete the deal.
