Al Hilal have officially submitted a €45 million total package to Aston Villa for Ollie Watkins as they step up their pursuit of the England international.
The proposal includes add-ons, with Watkins understood to be keen on a move to Saudi Arabia. However, the final decision now rests with Aston Villa.
Al Hilal had already made two approaches for the striker, both of which were rejected by Villa. The latest proposal is now the Saudi club’s first official bid as they look to convince the Premier League side to sell.
Watkins remains an important player for Unai Emery, but Al Hilal’s latest offer could test Villa’s resolve as the Saudi Pro League club continue to strengthen their attacking options.

The development comes after Softfootball reported that Aston Villa have reached an agreement to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka from West Ham United.
The deal is now at the final stages, with Wan-Bissaka set to join Villa on loan with a mandatory purchase clause included.
The defender has also given the green light to the move and is ready to begin a new chapter under Emery at Villa Park.
