Former Chelsea star, N’Golo Kanté is close to joining Fenerbahçe from Al Ittihad, according to latest reports.
Softfootball revealed last week that Kante was close to agreeing personal terms with the Turkish side. Fenerbahçe just missed out on Ademola Lookman and are keen on wrapping the deal for the French FIFA World Cup winner.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle informs that the deal is almost done and in its final stages. He revealed:

Kante believes Fenerbahçe offers him a better opportunity to prepare well for the World Cup in the North American countries of the United States, Mexico and Canada than staying in Saudi Arabia. He is highly rated by Didier Deschamps and its likely he is picked for the competition.
France are one of the favourites for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and Kante will love to win his second Mundial after finishing as runners-up in the last edition held in Qatar on penalties to a Lionel Messi inspired Argentina.
