Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has dismissed the rumours linking him with replacing Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, Softfootball reports.
The Italian is preparing Chelsea for the game against Newcastle at Saint James’ Park ahead of the Match-Day 17 of the premier league. The Blues are currently placed fourth with 28 points.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Maresca is focused on Chelsea and not paying attention to the rumours of moving to Manchester City. Enzo Maresca said:
Man City links? It’s 100% speculation. No time for that. I have a contract here at Chelsea until 2029. My focus is just on this club and I am proud to be here. It’s important to understand why this news was there but it is just speculation.
Chelsea defeated Everton 2-0 last weekend in the premier league and followed it up with a 3-1 win in the Carabao Cup quarter-final over League One side, Cardiff.

Maresca will be hoping for a continued winning run instead of the distractions of a possible move to Manchester City. Interestingly, the Italian Coach was former Assistant of Pep Guardiola before he left the club to become manager at Leicester City, where he won the English Championship and helped them gain promotion to the Premier League.
The sack of Mauricio Pochettino at Chelsea opened the door for him with the London club and he has been fantastic since taking over at Stamford Bridge, winning the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup.
