Fans enjoyed Erling Haaland and Phil Foden after they helped Manchester City beat Crystal Palace in the premier league Match-Day 16, Softfootball reports.
The Cityzens defeated Crystal Palace 3-0 at Selhurst Park with the Norwegian scoring twice while Foden scored from outside the box. The win helps Pep Guardiola’s men close the gap on league leaders Arsenal to two points.

Manchester City shared the result with their fans via their official X handle and it was all praise from their supporters. Haaland recently celebrated his premier league record as the fastest player to reach 100 Goals in the competitions history while Foden has been in good goal scoring form, scoring six goals in his last four matches.

Not the easiest match, but we always find a way. Manchester City 3–0 Crystal Palace — job done. Cherki’s vision? Absolutely elite. He sees passes others don’t even imagine. Haaland keeps evolving — another new goalscoring gear unlocked this season. Ruthless. And Foden… pure class. Confidence, control, end product — top form all round. This team knows when to suffer, when to strike, and when to remind everyone who we are. Onwards.

@godson_ebo did his own analysis of the title race. He wrote:
This win is significant for the title race in several key ways. Keeps City firmly in contention. A 3–0 away win is exactly the type of result title-winning teams grind out. Beating Crystal Palace on the road ensures City don’t drop points in matches they’re expected to win.
@Sidharth_World_ added:
Great 3 points. We didn’t start well, but Erling gave us the lead. Phil’s beautiful goal in the second half changed the momentum, followed by Erling’s second late on. Solid at the back with Gianluigi in goal, and the midfield was excellent both defensively and in attack.

Foden stepped up in the 2nd half. Gvardiol has been very good today, Cherki has been MOTM, Nunes has been good as well defensively & offensively. Haaland is inevitable, O’ Reilly has been decent.
@TodorovskiVasko was happy that the Cityzens won at Selhurst Park, a difficult place to win in the premier league. He said:
Selhurst Park is one of the toughest away days in the league.Full respect to Palace,they make every minute competitive. But City turn up,take the points & go home.@ManCity.
Manchester City now have just two points behind the Gunners with 34 points while the Crystal Palace sit fifth with 26 points on the premier league table after 16 matches this season.
