Fans of Manchester United were disappointed after a lethargic performance by Ruben Amorim’s team in the Match-Day 14 of the premier league, Softfootball reports.
The match which was played in front of 73,938 fans inside the prestigious Old Trafford saw Manchester United draw 1-1 against struggling West Ham after a Soungoutou Magassa’s 83rd-minute equaliser canceled out Diogo Dalot’s opener.

The result left the Red Devils on 22 points and in eighth on the premier league log while West Ham United remained in the relegation spot in 18th with just 12 points after 14 matches so far this season. Sharing the result on its official X handle, Manchester United posted:
United are held at Old Trafford.

@Ayomideolasoji was understanding that the season is still long but emphasised the importance of consistency for the Manchester United team. He said:
United and West Ham share the points. Decent moments, missed chances, and a reminder that consistency matters more than flashes. Work to do, but the season stays alive.
@Alpha_ChrisX advised Amorim to take more responsibilities and not shift blames. He wrote:
Amorim saying he’s angry is fine, but blaming ‘details’ sounds like an excuse. If one corner was a crucial moment, then the team wasn’t prepared. Big coaches fix problems, they don’t just complain about them.

@Madscientist014 simply posted a picture that represented his feelings after the match.

@RoofeDodger claims it is a poor display by the team in a game that was easier to win than to drop points. He said:
This is a very poor performance. No top 4 team manager will still be on his Job after getting 13 wins out of 41 games with 18 losses and 10 draws. This has to be the worse performance of any big team manager over 4 decades. Manchester United’s performance week in week out is absolutely shocking. Lost to 10 man Everton that got spanked at home by Newcastle.

@Oye440 blamed the draw on Amorim’s substitutions as he termed them school-boy stuff. He added:
Ruben Amorim’s subs have killed United’s momentum tonight. Taking off Cunha AND Zirkzee at the same time means there’s zero hold-up play left, and without Bruno in midfield they can’t build anything. You want to control a game and you’re bringing on Dorgu and Ugarte? School-boy stuff from him.
@MrSoofwa hinted that Ruben Amorim has not tactical know-how to help the team and just depends on the star quality of individual players. He said:
Amorim ball is freestyle football in the wrong formation, we have good players especially in attack but it’s difficult for them to combine against low blocks under this manager. Give it to Amad or Mbeumo and hope they do something is all we had in that first 45 minutes.
@fathers_crypto message was clear and precise. It read:

@Yolulwe_Qoshe refused to look beyond Amorim as far as blaming someone for the draw against West Ham United, He said:
That draw is all on Ruben Amorim. Terrible, terrible changes! Going ultra defensive and removing your goal threats when you had absolutely no threats to worry about? That result is all on the coach.
Despite Matheus Cunha’s return from injury, Manchester United could not beat the visitors and West Ham United enjoyed the draw because it gives them a chance to continue their fight against relegation. The Hammers via their official X handle shared highlight of the Soungoutou Magassa’s goal against Manchester United. Watch below.
