Argentine wonderkid, Franco Mastantuono has claimed that he is not at his best level yet for Real Madrid following his early struggles at the club, Softfootball reports.
The 18-year-old was not available when Real Madrid played out a goalless draw against Rayo Vallecano just before the international break. But more worrying for Los Blancos fans is that Mastantuono has scored just one goal in 12 appearances.

According to Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, the Argentine is determined to bounce back to form. Mastantuono said:
I haven’t reached my best level yet. I had a good spell at River Plate, but this isn’t my peak. I’m going to keep working and improving. I want to stay at the top for a long time in the best club in the world.
Mastantuono is currently sidelined with Pubalgia Injury, similar to the case of Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal but he believes he will come back stronger. He explained:
I’m working hard to recover from my pubalgia and return. It’s a pain I’ve been dealing with for a while, and the club asked me to stop a bit to recover properly.

The young star also believes that he is in the best football club in the world and has embraced the pressure that comes with being at that level despite being young. He added:
I’m at the best club in the world. I’m a Real Madrid fan. So… it’s not about pressure. I try to enjoy the responsibility of being a Real Madrid player. That way, my best version will arrive.
Franco Mastantuono is one of the exciting players out of South America and he is highly rated in Europe with firm belief by Real Madrid manager, Xabi Alonso that he will shine at the club.
