Premier League side, Brighton has missed out on Lázaro Vinicius as he agrees a deal to join Saudi Arabian side Al Najma SC, Softfootball reports.
The 23-year-old left winger is highly rated and was monitored by teams in Europe with Brighton hoping to sign him in January after the summer window closed on September 1.
Brighton has begun the 2025/26 season very well and one of their most outstanding results this campaign is the 2-1 home victory over Manchester City just before the international break.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, Lázaro will leave Spain for Saudi after a deal was agreed his his club Almeria. He said:

€5m initial fee plus 15% sell-on clause agreed.
Lázaro played last season on loan with Brazilian club Palmeiras and returned to the Almería squad this season for the 2025/26 season before his lastest move.
Lázaro is a skillful and versatile attacking player who can operate as a left winger, right winger, or second striker, known for his ability to take on opponents in one on one situations and cut inside to shoot.
Lázaro possesses good speed and has shown his professional footballing skills and enormous potential, though his career has seen periods of adjustment and competition for starting spots.
The young Brazilian has faced challenges like adapting to new leagues and overcoming intra-team competition, but he consistently shows his strengths when given opportunities.
The move to Saudi Arabia guarantees Lázaro more playing time. A chance to showcase his talents and perhaps play his way into the hearts of Carlo Ancelotti ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.
Brazil has already qualified for the Mundial as they finished fifth in the South America standings despite losing 1-0 to Bolivia in their final match.
